I owned Pet Shop Boys – Disco on cassette – in the olden days đŸ˜‰
At the weekend I was going through my old stuff and thought ‘I want to listen to that’ – then realised I didn’t have a cassette deck anymore!
So I nipped on over to amazon.co.uk to see how much it was and saw a little link to ‘Great Value on Used Items’. So I clicked it and received today a sparkly nearly new CD of the aforementioned album thanks to a nice man called Hugh in Lanarkshire.
It cost hardly anything (I know it’s the Pet Shop Boys) compared to buying the same album new.
I must have a quick look through my old cassettes and see what I want on CD!

For a week – I mean what am I going to do in a hotel in the middle of nowhere all week?
I’m leaving on Sunday evening and am not looking forward to it – I think a lot of surfing the interwebnet will be happening – plus some use of the gym.
Not quite so glamourous as it used to be this business travel malarkey.

I complain a lot – so keeping tracck is hard. I presume it was work related though and probably involved other people not doing something they should have.

I told a colleague that her dress was nice (it was too).

This mornings newspaper and the bag my sausage sandwich came in.

Yes I know a damn long acronym that one. Okay so last night was the end of a company wide film festival. They showed Hedwig and the Angry Inch and I was joined by Jacs and the lovely Mr Miller. I’d seen it before but neither of the others had. I must say I found it much easier to follow this time around and was less disturbed to see Michael Pitt from Dawson’s Creek playing a gay christian rock kid.
Davo has had the pleasure of meeting John Cameron Mitchell who is currently working on a new project entitled The Sex Film Project.
So all in all it was a nice night. A few drinks afterwards was going to be at Vespa Lounge but they were closed (too few girlz or something) so we ended up at First Out. I haven’t been there for ages. Left earlyish and wandered through town with Jacs over the newly refurbished Hungerford Bridge and gazed at possibly the best view of London you can get without working in Canary Wharf đŸ™‚
