Ever have a tune running around your head?

I have thanks to 4Music but thanks to bing and youtube… Shazam strangely couldn’t tag it – first time in ages that’s happened.
Anyway it’s The Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition

Brighton round up

So this year it poured down in Brighton for the annual London-on-Sea Pride. It didn’t dampen our spirits though and we struggled through for a few hours before dragging ourselves back for hot food and some more drinks 🙂

In the evening there were fireworks over the pier too which was great fun.

Oh and a trip to the pier on the Sunday morning is always fun.

Brighton Pride

So normally there are empty condom and lube wrappers lying around in the loos but this years Brighton Pride had Poligrip wrappers instead which I’m not sure is any better!

Loving Jon Schmidt

If there was ever a reason I wish I’d played the piano more than 2 lessons this video would be it. It helps of course that Jon Schmidt has done a great arrangement too of course 😉

Love Story (Taylor Swift) meets Viva La Vida (Coldplay) – Piano & Cello.

How to enable emoji on your iphone

(without needing to jailbreak it)

The simplest FREE way of doing it is to install Spell Number on your phone – UK iTunes link – then you need to open the app and enter the number 91929394.59 (include the decimal point) and then you can close the app.

Then go to Settings >> General >> Keyboard >> International Keybards >> Japanese >> Emoji (switch ON)
If you don’t see Emoji as an option and only see QWERTY and Kana then reopen Spell Number and try again.

Then you should have some additional options when typing in any application.

Oh and in case you didn’t know emoji is the Japanese name for pictorial characters, smileys and emoticons. The characters are similar to the commonly used emoticons in use for chat but Emoji has over 461 standardised icons which are built into most Japanese handsets including the iPhone.

GRINDR the iPhone app that Gaydar should have created

I’ve been banging on about this for a year since the iPhone 3G came out with GPS. It’s a perfect fit – gay men, gadgets and location finder. A plug from Stephen Fry on Top Gear hasn’t hurt the number of users either in recent days 😉

Stupid trains and national rail

So iPhone applications come and go but recently my favourite application

has been deactivated. Worse national rail have made an inferior product and want a fiver for it!
So now not only do trains run late but you have to pay to check if it’s late!
