Whilst in Tesco getting lunch I picked up some Cola and Lime fizzy lances for davo and his flatmates to enjoy.
I also purchased a bumper bag of fizzy [substitute extremely sour] strawberry flavour [well actually 9v battery with a little strawberry aftertaste] lances for a snack later. BIG mistake. After pulling my tongue off the first one in recoil action as if shocked by licking a live wire I decided to wander around offering these ‘sweets’ to unsuspecting colleagues.

Meg – ‘they taste of ming’
Paula – ‘why would you do that to yourself? I mean why eat these things’
Patrick – ‘can I have another one?’
Jen – ‘they are nice in a perverted kind of way’
Michelle – ‘oooooh aaaaahhh’
Darren – ‘is this an endurance test’
So the verdict? go on try them – only 95p for 200g of pure sugar evil

I just have to say that Tesco‘s Key Lime Pie Ice Cream is the best ice cream since davo‘s home made stuff the other week 😉

feeling lots better this evening and had a few calls which cheered me up no end and also got my appetite back and managed to eat ice cream too

okay so being sick on

okay so being sick on a work day is slightly better – at least I don’t feell like I’m wasting my own time lying here feeling sorry for myself 🙁
wrapped in a duvet watching trashy 70’s sci-fi and munching grapes and drinking water. could do with my ickle hot water dog today but he is round at nige’s.

ooh I have been spending

ooh I have been spending time reading recently – well a lot more than usual now I am settling back into being in the UK. wandered over to davo‘s musings at brainsluice and came accross the article about study finds you don’t make a difference at work. Dave @ work has been saying that to me for months he claims I do nothing anyways.
now I don’t always read scall-o-blog [come on I work with and socialise with and holiday with and…beans] but I must say that even though he came back from a no doubt extended lunch break to tell me about the guy in the TV shop we had seen on wednesday I was shocked by how sordid it all sounded in print [well on screen then if you want to be picky]. Talk about chicken tonight 😉
kind of disturbed by the number of people that are now searching for that damn john west salmon bear fight advert. This is a total catch 22 thing I’m sure – I did blog it once and now I seem to come up in every search for it I should just mirror the adcritic site.
oh and I just thought I’d mention that I think this is possibly the longest list of blog sites in the world.

went out for drinks with davo tonight and something to eat in gili gulu on monmouth street – very pleasant evening all in all.
