meg has just rebranded >random encounters in everday life”>strangelyfamiliar and to complement it I have put together passingglances.co.uk – go have a look and enjoy.
passingglances.co.uk ::free email ::message boards
While strangely familiar is for telling stories about random encounters in everyday life, passing glances is about trying to track down people you might have noticed on the train, in a bar, at your local shop, in a club, and want to contact. Register and leave your message – if they find you, they can contact you via passingglances.co.uk email. Sneaky, huh?

mixed day – the DNS

mixed day – the DNS problems sorted themselves out- with relief. I think I may have just been being impatient. Got invited to scally’s to finish the haggis next wednesday. Did lots of house type stuff washing and the like. Went out for a long walk with Jack as it was a lovely day. Met Spence and Abi for drinks and had a generally pleasant day. Realised how completely lost I would be if I had to move into a smaller flat now that I have become accustomed to so much space. I remember when I was in one room and how I coped with so little space. All my books in boxes – which I know to some people is the only way to keep books [foms] – all my other stuff stored at my parents.
panicked that there is less than a week until the party now and I have nothing prepared yet, the following week-end I am at Eurodisney and the I am off to Singapore and Sydney – it is all happening so quickly. Shouldn’t complain – I’ll make sure I get plenty of aspirin though for the flight to oz.

happy happy monday – for

happy happy monday – for the first time in ages a monday has been good. :o) Probably has a lot to do with last night though late night but fun.
just been looking at the MardiGras2000 website for ideas and things for next month. It all looks so much better than pride and mardi gras do here in London. I think it has something to do with the weather!
meg has finally lost the plot! I mean what does she think she is doing? Happy bunny today too I think though :o)

Nice food and mixed company

Nice food and mixed company last night – thanks to scally for organising that.
Got really bored with DIY and DNS today 🙁
looking forward to tomorrow night though.

:) well had a nice

🙂 well had a nice night – didn’t actually make it to the gym. The lovely spence hadn’t managed to get his passport photo done. Which is good as it gave me the perfect excuse to back out of going along. I have managed another day without bowing to peer pressure.
One down side is I didn’t get to go for a drink with him either. Instead I was entertaining andrew and sprogg with a lovely fish casserole and a few very stressful games of Jenga – well actually a very cheap Czech version bought from one of the lovely christmas markets in the old town square a few years ago whilst visiting ff. It is made up of coloured blocks and has dice so you have to take a colour according to what you roll. We spent a very traumatic night playing it whilst drinking very cheap Czech vodka with lots of people. Anyways it was no less traumatic tonight – just easier because the thirteen year old always tends to lose. I mean they just go for the blocks no one else would try in a million years 😉
Looking forward to the burns supper tomorrow night at scally’s – my dad would be proud. Well actually he wouldn’t but then that’s another story. I wish I had continued to learn the bagpipes now – it would have been a great party trick. Instead I’ll just have to try and drag some tartan out the wardrobe and make small talk!

spent the night last night

spent the night last night laying ikea laminate flooring round at david‘s flat
suprisingly tired this morning – although it was a late night. normally though my evenings on a wednesday are spent hedonising at the 2brewers or kazbar in clapham until the wee small hours so last night should have been a rest in comparison.

adding to my list of commando links is all things military if you are coming to the party then you could do worse than buy an outfit from these guys :o)
