One of the reasons I attended was because web designers should take responsibility to ensure everyone, regardless of ability or disability, can read their designs. RNIB recommends use of WAI’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. When you realise that 1.7 million people in the UK have difficulties seeing it makes sense to ensure your audience is able to view your work.
