Chop Suey

The film last night was a little like this site, disjointed and very self indulgent. Still I knew that before I went to see it so I quite enjoyed it. Others in the audience looked a little bored though.
Afterwards I had a mad dash back home to wallk Jack and then back to Balham to meet a friend for drinks and dinner – all very rushed and late. Still was very nice and I discovered a lot. We discussed the film which he had seen last week. We both agreed the blonde kid was more worthy of obsession than Peter Johnson. I also discovered I wasn’t the only kid to have experimented whilst a kid 😉
So now I may need to add Broken Noses to my hitlist.

Nice weather = less time online

which I *think* is a good thing although I am not sure.
I’m desperately trying not to spend any money as I have to pay off the trip to San Francisco at the moment. It all adds up quite steeply when you get the bills all in the same month.
Plus you know I hate having balances on credit cards and stuff. One more thing to worry about and all.
Still at least the weather was nice so I spent lots of time on the roof topping up the tan and naked sunbathing – I love the whole not being overlooked up there. I’d prefer it if I could get there a little easier but hey, you can’t have everything now can you.
Spoke to a few mates, had the quiz about how I am feeling. All that stuff.
So back to work tomorrow. I’m going in early so I can go and see Chop Suey with Spence & Glenn tomorrow and then dinner with a friend.

Panic On the Streets Of London

Panic gripped the streets of London this afternoon when patches of sky took on an unusual blue colour and a ball of fire appeared above the city.
The phenomenon, known as ‘The Sun’ and commonly found in Mediterranean countries, unleashed a terrifying heat and brightness upon the capital, causing many pedestrians to take off their hats and scarves, while motorists were able to turn both their headlights and wipers off.
Tony Blair urged people to be calm and return to work as normal stating: “We’ve seen this sort of thing before”, he said,”but it never lasts.”
There are forecasts that ‘The Sun’ could be seen throughout the weekend but a spokesman for No.10 said, “I wouldn’t hold my breath”.

Mardi Gras

Having read other peoples reports I am glad I opted to stay in Soho Square after the march with the crowd from gingerbeer.co.uk [no not gingerbread.com Ian]
On another note about all the people who have complained they are being ripped off. Surely having to pay ?17.50 constitutes real equality? Heterosexuals never expect their parties to be free. Party in the Park isn’t free and they charged a booking fee for each ticket and a transaction fee for each booking!

indecently obsessive acts

I find myself gripped with urges sometimes. While sat on a train gazing at a man who’s name I do not know [and never will] I find myself wondering about what beverage he is drinking if it is a latte or a capuccino or maybe just an old fashioned filter coffee.
Once I saw a man on the train to work and we engaged in some exchanged glances and flirtatious looks. I gave up on reading my book for that man’s eyes and how beautiful they sparkled when he smiled. When we arrived at Clapham Junction I was determined to try and pick him up. I tried to approach him but the crowds cut me off and when I did reach the staircase all I could see was the cup he had been drinking out of.
I was gripped by this sudden urge to take his rubbish home with me. Fortunately a colleague from work called my name from behind saving me from embarrassing myself. Is it just me or do other people have the same obsessions? I know a friend of mine who not only feared heights but when at the top of buildings or looking down stairwells would think about jumping to see what it was like [he didn’t remaina friend].
