gah

you know when you have one of those evenings when you wish you had stayed at work?
left for the train to discover it was cancelled 🙁
got home to discover empty fridge and freezer 🙁
cooked what I could rummage together only to throw it on the floor whilst walking through the hall – I think the new carpet is jinxed 🙁
went to get a drink and spilt blueberry and cranberry juice on the new wool rug 🙁
decided to at least eat something so had some toast and bit my tongue 🙁
so going to walk jack and go to bed where hopefully nothing else will break/go wrong.
roll on tomorrow 🙂

too early :(

At 08:45 today – yes that is normally when I am leaving for work – I was at the Warner Village Cinema in Shepherd’s Bush feeling very sorry for myself. However I was not alone – our entire office where there – no it wasn’t a sneak preview of Ocean’s Eleven but a company meeting.

So we wandered into screen 9 expecting the usual set up of important people talking from the front only to be confronted by adverts for all of WarnerBros current offerings including the dubiously named eight legged freaks. I mean hello – 09:00 and scared out my wits by a trailer of a film with huge spiders. I mean come on that is so unfair I was expecting to be bored shitless not scared shitless.

They didn’t disappoint though we had the important people talking from the front after the trailers.

weekend review

Saturday saw me in Brixton with Oliver again – getting mightily hammered and talking sex and girlfriends and stuff.
Blogger ‘A’ and Blogger ‘B’ where down my local pub for Sunday Roast this week – which was very nice 🙂 Also there were Jacs & Helen and Spence & Glenn. After gorging ourselves on stupidly large plates of Turkey and Beef dinners we opted for pudding and coffees too – The girls won a huge box of Milk Tray in the raffle and then Blagger’A’ and Blogger ‘B’ went to see Monsters Inc.
I enjoyed my night a lot snuggling on the sofa and watching sunday night TV after the movies and food with friends – a good end to a good weekend.

viewpoint

normally it’s jonathan who is getting excited over technology – but today it’s me for a change – no I haven’t bought anything! I have discovered viewpoint though and think it’s brilliant. Although I never got around to learning flash – so I reckon learning viewpoint is so not going to happen. Still it’s nice to play with their demos if nothing else .
