okay well after the escapades during the Big Brother party for Brian’s 23rd birthday I must now concede the ‘Hamster Principle‘ seems to work. Poor ickle Brian got all queeny cos he was no longer the centre of attention. Bless.

I have decided to reinvent

I have decided to reinvent myself. If the housemates in Big Brother can change their names [josh/paul, penny/lisa], I sure can! So from now on you can refer to me as … Ashley or Ash for short.

Whilst looking at Barbelith earlier

Whilst looking at Barbelith earlier in the day I came across Brian versus Josh in the Big Brother house. I have been watching this interplay with interest and was amused to see I was not the only one to have formed the opinion.
Brian has fallen into the role of holier than thou with his quotes about not having sex etc etc possibly in an attempt to allay heterosexual fears of gayness.
I mean let’s face it – whenever a heterosexual hears the word ‘gay man’ they immediately visualise buggery. So by removing that image by being virtually asexual, he is in my opinion trying to make himself look better in the eyes of heterosexuals. Also I think he is very threatened by Josh being an ‘A’ Gay – up until now in the house the gay jester role has been Brian’s. Josh is not competing for jester though and Brian is fully aware of it. The girls fancy Josh and see him as a potential sexy friend to be seen out with on the town making the other girls envious yet without any commitment on there part. The straight guys have accepted Josh in much the same way. He is let’s face it an easy going guy. I’ll wait to see if the ‘Hamster Principal’ turns out to be true.

I’m sure glad it wasn’t

I’m sure glad it wasn’t just me! David is having the same problem with ‘super one daily’ vitamins 😉 Bright yellow pee and nasty smell. I thought I had caught something and then remembered I haven’t had sex in ages.
Which reminds me did anyone else see big brother last night? Brian was saying he hasn’t had sex since 1999 – not suprising really if you ask me but of course that depends on how you define sex really. I mean look at Clinton?

Java Toaster eh? My mum

Java Toaster eh? My mum used to have an old fashioned manual toaster [well grill actually with some bread templates you press into the bread before popping under the grill. So we could have ‘GOOD MORNING’ toast or ‘HAE A NICE DAY’ toast. This lasted about a month before the novelty wore off. Around the same time my brother and I had been fueding over who had the blue plastic tupperware® bowl. In fact we were getting up earlier and earlier each day until my mum decided enough was enough and hid it. This particular feud lasted nearly a year before it escalated out of control. Others carried on simmering away for years. Kids eh?

I’m not sure about the

I’m not sure about the new lavender look and feel – I used this colour scheme a year ago – in fact 18 months I think for a friends site and decided to repurpose it. Very undecided and may go back to the good old white and grey 😉
Spent most of the weekend watching Big Brother and Big Brothers Little Brother – Dermot O’ Leary you sex god you 😉

I also just realised that Young Americans was effectively a spin off from Dawson’s – Will from YA was visiting Pacey this episode.
Conclusion: I watched way too much TV this weekend.
