woke up late this morning and have been in a melanchony mood so far – bored of having to think for other people at the moment and thinking about just telling them to shove it š
called the nike hotline for the 10k run on July 22nd in London – they seemed a little unorganised – but at least it gives me a short term goal before the marathon to be training for.
It’s spence‘s birthday today so go on over and send him a card or something – anything to cheer him up after an exciting night of light bulb changing!
Davo has been racking his brains for some ickle content so get on over and peruse the archives and mail him something ickle today.
I’ve installed Mac OS X
I’ve installed Mac OS X today and been playing with lots of new software :o) I like it lots – almost as much as when I played with Windows XP – but the whole MP3 thing has got me thinking that MS are a bunch of money grabbing….
I just decided after chatting
I just decided after chatting with davo that I should really log on and blog just how annoying the new halifax advert is. I mean as if ‘who let the dogs out’ wasn’t bad enough they have gone and reworded it for an advert. I mean for gods sake GET A LIFE!
erm can someone tell me
erm can someone tell me the point to runlondon.com? I was looking for the Nike Run London website – yeah I know I know and stumbled upon it.
well an eventful few hours
well an eventful few hours since I last blogged š
for a change I went to the 2 sewers on Saturday night but dragged davo along too! bumped into a few drunken work colleagues and then wandered off
home, had a fab night all in all. got up exceedingly late on Sunday – well I had a late night hadn’t I
<g> so then pottered around and did some boring stuff before having a quick disco nap?
in preperation for GIANT.
went to GIANT with scally
and davo and queued for
stupid amounts of time [even though we had pre-purchased our tickets] and after
a wait of around and hour finally joined the queue for security check. after the
security check we then joined the queue to enter the venue. So by now we had
queued for around 2 hours and decided to not join the hour long queue for coat
check but fought our way through the crowds with our jackets in hand instead.
Despite all these problems [and they put us in a bad mood big stylee] we managed
to get into it when we later turned up to check our coats with a little
queue!
davo and I even ventured into the hoist <g> which wasn’t that bad actually
[apart from the porn on the video screens]. Stayed in the Heaven room for most
of the night [on a podium of course] and got completely drenched. Who needs a
sauna? or a work out for that matter. Wandered off home around 5ish I think – it
was getting very light anyways. I have vowed not to go next time because of the
queues but hey it was good despite it!
got up this morning and
got up this morning and went out for an hour on the bike again with jack – poor little tyke has no idea what is going on š imagine when I start running properly and he is tagging along for miles
poor pacey and joey :o(
poor pacey and joey :o( oh if you don’t watch dawson’s creek then you’ll have no idea what I am going on about. as for jack well his quote of the day was ‘i’m scared i’ll never find a man i love as much as you’ just before snogging his best mate jen. get back in the closet with you boy I mean first passing up tobey and then trying it on with girls i mean that clset door is gonna lock when it closes. Talking of closets did I mention that Luke was wearing a seriously suspect shirt when I went around for the fantastic dinner at meg, dave and lukes the other night. Either it made him very gay looking or as scally pointed out very straight looking – I mean what gay man would be seen dead wearing that shirt?
okay well i’m quite impressed
okay well i’m quite impressed with myself actually. since yesterday evening left me horribly hungover I recovered really well. Although I am the hollow man and have see through hands for part of the evening. The rest of the pics are here, and scally’s pics are here.
This afternoon I collected Jack and went cycling on streatham common for a hour or so and then I went to andrew and spogg‘s were I went roller blading again for a few hours including a few games of roller tag and stick in the mud with sprogg and his friends. So all in all a very energetic day – which is the first of many no doubt as I prepare for the marathon.
Just got back in now and Jack has collapsed :o) and I think I may follow him soon š
i’ve been a bit slack
i’ve been a bit slack on the posts the last few days š very very busy again. But last night took some time out and went around to meg, luke and dave’s new flat for what can only be described as a gastronomic delight. followed by light conversation and a fabulous game of articulate, much alcohol and very pleasant company. was very very nice indeed.
