I love the random emails

I love the random emails you get from friends. This one made me chuckle it is like a mini Darwin Awards.
3 people die each year testing if a 9v battery works on their tongue.
142 people were injured in 1998 by not removing all pins from new shirts.
58 people are injured each year by using sharp knives instead of
screwdrivers.
31 people have died since 1996 by watering their Christmas tree while the
fairy lights were plugged in.
19 people have died in the last 3 years believing that Christmas
decorations were chocolate.
Hospitals reported 4 broken arms last year after cracker pulling accidents.
101 people since 1997 have had to have broken-parts of plastic toys
pulled out of the soles of their feet.
18 people had serious burns in 1998 trying on a new jumper with a lit
cigarette in their mouth.
A massive 543 people were admitted to A&E in the last two years after
opening bottles of beer with their teeth.
5 people were injured last year in accidents involving out of control
Scalectrix cars.
And finally,
8 people cracked their skull in 1997 after falling asleep while throwing up
into the toilet.

Watch yourselves kiddies!!

So I rocked into work at some ungodly hour. well around 10:30 actually by the time I had missed connections at clapham.

Dave @ work was looking

Dave @ work was looking at Dark Horizon’s who had this nugget of info about that classic sci-fi flick Logan’s Run. It would appear that Warners has purchased logansrunthemovie.com hinting at a sequel/remake.

I have been banking with

I have been banking with cahoot since they started and must say the service has been on the whole patchy. Internet banking is a little scary really. You have to weight the advantages of being able to do things from work without going out in the rain with the fact that no branch network leaves you in a hole when cash machines refuse point blank to give you cash whilst telling you you have lots of money in your account.
What sold it for me though was the 0% credit card. Must check when that runs out :o)

I am so so glad

I am so so glad there is a commando theme for my party. I keep getting sent random links to commando/army themed stories like : Marine Corps Rocked: Allegations Of Gay Porn Are Investigated. Shame there is no link to the site 😉

grrrr I have just spent

grrrr I have just spent the best part of an hour printing 5 sheets of paper. What is the point of working for a technology company when you can’t even use a printer because it hasn’t been serviced in the last year and jams 19 out of every 20 sheets. grrrr….

well I have now moved

well I have now moved servers so hopefully things will draw in quicker. Only problem is I no longer seem to have a customised 404 page :o(
