I have a few minutes whilst my PC is virus checked for a new variant of the NIMDA virus so sped on over to salon to read a few articles I have bookmarked but never gotten around to reading. This story about AOL chat rooms being the sauna’s of the 70’s is fairly true to life as much today as it was when this article first appeared 2 years ago.

in other news though eighteen year old debbie from slough has gone and gotten engaged.

in yet more news other people refused to get engaged and have decided to declare an intention to get married at sometime in the future.

I have just posted a rant comment on poor Jonathan’s site. In actual fact the rant was directed at BT but it was brought about by this post.

I *used* to have perfectly working DSL until a line fault with BT when they came to fix the line fault they said I was too far from the exchange and couldn’t tell me why it had been working perfectly up until the line fault. So they removed it 🙁

Uncharitable people would think it was because this was a competitor service [AOL] not BT’s own service…

still not feeling 100%

but going into work anyways tomorrow as I have watched every DVD I own in an attempt to avoid daytime TV and then ran out and borrowed some off friends. Also feeling kind of guilty even though I am sick that lots is happening at work without me 🙁

Routine some of us like it some of us don’t I think I need it and work is firmly part of the routine. Looking forward to the school bus even

x-ray specs

well okay not specs but I did go to the hospital to get my chest x-rayed today. It wasn’t actually that bad except I was surrounded by half naked old men coughing as badly as I was. The porter was cute though 😉 I’m terrible me – sick as a dog and still checking out the talent.

I’m very bored of being sick now though and would like to be able to drink sometime soon and maybe even venture into a pub or bar. Looks like I’m missing out on all the fun scally has been out on the town with bruce in tow – or should that be the other way around?

so not at work again. off to have my chest x-rayed tomorrow in the hopes of finding out why the 2nd batch of antibiotics still hasn’t cleared my chest infection 🙁
